Hii no Sekimon

A rock whose center has become a cave after being eroded by rough waves.

A rock near Cape Irago and Koijigahama that has been eroded by the rough waves of the Pacific Ocean and has become a cave in the middle. It is named “Hii no Sekimon” from the place name Hii Town. One of the scenic spots on the Atsumi Peninsula.
Depending on the season, you can take the best shots of the stone gate and sunrise. In February and October, you can take pictures of the stone gate and sunrise from Koijigahama along with the sea. From late October to late January, you can take a picture of the sunrise at the hole in the stone gate from Hinode Park, which is a short distance from National Highway No. 42.
