About Tahara

Tahara City is located on the Atsumi Peninsula, the southernmost tip of Aichi Prefecture in the central part of Japan.
By public transportation, it takes 35 minutes by Shinkansen from Nagoya, the location of the prefectural office, to Toyohashi, and 50 minutes by Meitetsu and JR. 35 minutes from Toyohashi to Mikawatahara by Toyohashitsutsudou atsumisen. By car, it takes about 1 hour from the Otowa-Gamagori IC on the Tomei Expressway.
