Irago Onsen

Sodium / calcium chloride hot spring. It is effective for poor circulation.

In 2020, the long-awaited hot spring springed up near Cape Irago. The hot springs that have been pumped up will be transported to accommodation facilities by tank truck under the name of “Irago Onsen” (tentative name). It is scheduled to start using in April 2010.
The quality of the spring is sodium / calcium chloride hot spring. It is said to have an effect on poor circulation, and is also called “scratch hot water” due to its bactericidal effect on salt.
Currently, there are no hot springs on the Atsumi Peninsula, and new tourism resources are born. In the area, people inside and outside the city are looking forward to attracting customers using hot springs and expecting regional revitalization.
