Mt. Zao

From the observatory at the top, you can enjoy a 360-degree panorama.

A mountain with an altitude of 250m that rises in the Tahara area. A 360-degree panorama spreads from the observatory at the top. In addition to Mikawa Bay and the Pacific Ocean, you can see Mt. Fuji far on a sunny day in winter. Good luck if you can see it. The night view is also beautiful, and you will be drawn into the light of the houses and buildings under your eyes, the light of the industrial area, and the sea illuminated by the moonlight.
Mt. Zao has a course that is easy to climb and you can easily enjoy trekking.
The “Zao Panorama Cafe” on the 2nd floor of the observatory boasts a seasonal menu. In the summer, you can eat melon and sherbet made from locally produced fruits of Amanatsu. The toilet at the top allows you to see the cityscape below through the glass. Worth a look.
