The museum at the site of Tahara Castle introduces materials, cultural properties, and historic sites related to the history of Tahara.
Collected and exhibited materials related to Watanabe Kazan, a pioneer at the end of the Edo period and a great local. The permanent exhibition room focuses on the life of Mt. Hua from various angles. In the special exhibition room, paintings and historical materials of Mr. Huayama, who is famous as a painter, and his disciples will be exhibited. There is also a special exhibition room in the hall, where special exhibitions and special exhibitions are held.
In addition, the “Ninomaru Tower” in front of the museum entrance exhibits mainly archaeological materials such as Yoshigo Shell Mound and Atsumi Koyo. There is also a folk museum in front of the castle ruins “Sakuramon”, which mainly introduces the lives of ordinary people since the Edo period.
